Exactly How Lunch Should Be!
I was lucky to arrive at Alex and Co with a small posse of passionate Sydney foodies & photographers to dine with.
The Posse:
The venue is very so spacious with 600M2 and many seating options from a table of 2, to a full function for all occasions and requirements.
We had a table near the kitchen with lots of natural light and as we sat down, we were taken care of by the friendly staff right from the very first cocktail.
Cocktail List:
INDECENT PROPOSAL / Passionfruit infused vodka, elderflower, fresh lime, egg white, passoa liquer, served with a shot of prosecco. MOJITO / Rum, mint, brown sugar, lime.
I AM DRIVING (Mocktail) / Fresh pineapple & raspberry mixed with citrus, mints, cranberry, fizz.
Following the cocktails came the shared seafood platter.
BBQ SEAFOOD PLATTER
One large shared tray whole lobster, four king prawns, two scallops, whole blue swimmer crab, four battered fried fish, salt & pepper calamari, grilled octopus, chilli garlic white wine mussels, fattoush salad, fries.
Then came the Honey Halloumi.

A sizzling plate of baked honey halloumi, fig, pomegranate, mint salad.
Then came the Pizza.
MARGHERITA
Tomato, buffalo mozzarella, fresh basil
And to pair with the lamb just in case we weren’t already full enough, a side of the most delicious slow cooked lamb shoulder with all the trimmings.
SIGNATURE LAMB SHOULDER
Four hours braised lamb shoulder, mash, roasted seasonal vegetable, Greek salad, sourdough, lamb jus
Such a great afternoon, such a great venue and what an amazing front of house team and kitchen staff.
